ShopSavvy
Free app for iPhone
ShopSavvy you might of heard from that guy in the office who finds every little iPhone app a must download, but this one is very clever and potentially money saving.
The idea is that you scan the barcode of any product, which you would like to purchase; lets say for example you’re at a Department Store and you wonder if you could possibly find it cheaper at another store or online. So with ShopSavvy, you scan the barcode, and it will search online to see which places it is available for purchase, and the price you’d pay.
This will be perfect for Christmas coming up to make sure you can stretch every dollar to either give or save more, especially seeing as the app is free, you have nothing to lose except saving some money if you don’t!

Review of Calorie Note Free – Daily Food Diary
With winter heading north again, and summer soon sneaking up on us, many of us are starting to notice the warm winter comfort food around our waists and are joining diets to fit into that short summer skirt again.
With many dietitians suggesting calorie tracking to fight that belly jiggle, here’s a free iphone app that can help ease that stress of counting, tracking and monitoring all the food you eat through the day.
It also has other features such as; Goals, calendars, weight management and calculators for BMI, adequate weights and basal metabolic rate.
Perfect to help achieve your weight loss goals this summer!
iGizmo for iPad
Review of iGizmo for iPad – FREE
IGizmo has been a popular I.T Gadget magazine of mine for the last year, first publishing its magazine in March of 2008. It offers a wide range of gadget reviews and comparisons of the latest technologies from mobile phones, computers, tablets and what ever else is out there in the world of technology and cool nerdy facts.
The free application itself, is only limited to the iPad, allowing you to download the magazine editions back to September last year to keep in archive to view anywhere without data connection, allowing use for iPad without 3G
If you don’t have an iPad, don’t worry, the magazines full content is also available from its website; http://www.igizmo.co.uk/signup or available in print.

Cut the Rope
This iPhone app review is about a great game which was made for time wasting in any location. Its simple game nature with puzzle, arcade like genre, however it’s the achievement of grabbing all three stars before feeding ‘Om Nom’ the little creature his candy which drives you to keep playing each level over and over till you achieve it, not finishing till your screen is full of gold stars.
The game requires you to cut ropes as the name suggest, use items around you such as springs & balloons, as well as motion and gravity to deliver Om Nom his candy.
It sounds simple, however some of the levels can really stress your brain or just require fast skill action, this game is for everyone.
It offers a free lite & Christmas Version which I found the Christmas version wasn’t all that challenging, but rather copying ‘Angry Birds’ of its many seasoned themes, and I’d just skip with the lite version seeing as the full content cost is a minor 99c, I guarantee mostly everyone will find their money’s worth of enjoyment with this iPhone app.

Rugby World Cup 2011
Review of Free App for iPhone
Of course one of the many exciting events of 2011 is the Rugby World Cup being hosted by our friendly neighbors, New Zealand.
If you don’t watch TV like me, you might find it hard to know when a game is on this September, October and be disappointed when you miss it.
So you might join me in delight that the RWC has released a free app that’s packed full of features.
The apps of course has all the latest news on teams for upcoming matches from official RWC sources, show’s a calendar of all the matches in this years World Cup, brings the ability to filter information for your team, so you can focus on the Wallabies rather than reading about those rubbish All Blacks and Pohm’s.
My favorite feature which makes it more worth it, is the video selection of highlights from past Rugby World Cups.
This is a fantastic app that will keep you informed about all that’s happening, in one simple location.
