Review iPhone Apps - Tom Tom

Tom Tom is a paid iPhone App for $69.99 from iTunes

For those who are like me, and are continuingly getting lost in concrete jungles around Australia, or even if you hit the road to the outback, then think to yourself, ‘so where the bloody hell am I’. I have the perfect option; Tom Tom Australia, with a hefty price of $69.99 I admit, however look at what it can save you in the long run, most GPS’s are looking to cost you around $200 with then constant map updates.

Tom Tom Australia fits nicely on your phone, saving you having to carry, charge and update another bulky device with you.
The app comes with everything that Tom Tom have with their full GPS products; voice instructions with multiple voices to choose from, smart routes to avoid tolls or quicker speeds on longer distances.

You could be thinking, why pay $70 for an app which Google maps already does for free, and the reason would be the details, its more precise with turning lanes and from my experience, won’t leave you thinking that your destination is under a bridge or on a plane runway.

HeyTell - iPhone App Review

Review of Best iPhone Apps – HeyTell. Free from iTunes

In this day and age, everything is made to simplify your life, and this app is for those that are text-a-holics and are getting lazy of finger smashing.

HeyTell is a Voice messenger that works over the GSM network. What does that mean to you?  Rather than having to call for a simple question or write a long text message, you are able to record a voice message, press send, and the person at the other end will receive your message translated to text.

The great thing about HeyTell is that it can have light to heavy protection settings, so you don’t have any un-wanted people sending you anything. HeyTell is a fantastic app for all those social butterfly’s, because it is cheaper in the long run to use data than sending a text and saves time from typing a text message.
