Cut the Rope - iPhone

Cut the Rope

This iPhone app review is about a great game which was made for time wasting in any location. Its simple game nature with puzzle, arcade like genre, however it’s the achievement of grabbing all three stars before feeding ‘Om Nom’ the little creature his candy which drives you to keep playing each level over and over till you achieve it, not finishing till your screen is full of gold stars.
The game requires you to cut ropes as the name suggest, use items around you such as springs & balloons, as well as motion and gravity to deliver Om Nom his candy.
It sounds simple, however some of the levels can really stress your brain or just require fast skill action, this game is for everyone.
It offers a free lite & Christmas Version which I found  the Christmas  version wasn’t all that challenging, but rather copying ‘Angry Birds’ of its many seasoned themes, and I’d just skip with the lite version seeing as the full content cost is a minor 99c, I guarantee mostly everyone will find their money’s worth of enjoyment with this iPhone app.

iPhone App - Rugby World Cup 2011

Rugby World Cup 2011

Review of Free App for iPhone

Of course one of the many exciting events of 2011 is the Rugby World Cup being hosted by our friendly neighbors, New Zealand.
If you don’t watch TV like me, you might find it hard to know when a game is on this September, October and be disappointed when you miss it.
So you might join me in delight that the RWC has released a free app that’s packed full of features.

The apps of course has all the latest news on teams for upcoming matches from official RWC sources, show’s a calendar of all the matches in this years World Cup, brings the ability to filter information for your team, so you can focus on the Wallabies rather than reading about those rubbish All Blacks and Pohm’s.
My favorite feature which makes it more worth it, is the video selection of highlights from past Rugby World Cups.

This is a fantastic app that will keep you informed about all that’s happening, in one simple location.

Review iPhone Apps - Tom Tom

Tom Tom is a paid iPhone App for $69.99 from iTunes

For those who are like me, and are continuingly getting lost in concrete jungles around Australia, or even if you hit the road to the outback, then think to yourself, ‘so where the bloody hell am I’. I have the perfect option; Tom Tom Australia, with a hefty price of $69.99 I admit, however look at what it can save you in the long run, most GPS’s are looking to cost you around $200 with then constant map updates.

Tom Tom Australia fits nicely on your phone, saving you having to carry, charge and update another bulky device with you.
The app comes with everything that Tom Tom have with their full GPS products; voice instructions with multiple voices to choose from, smart routes to avoid tolls or quicker speeds on longer distances.

You could be thinking, why pay $70 for an app which Google maps already does for free, and the reason would be the details, its more precise with turning lanes and from my experience, won’t leave you thinking that your destination is under a bridge or on a plane runway.
